Me and the Southside Ensemble just did our latest gig at a house party in Elk Grove. The house was owned by a woman named Kim, and she and everybody else who was there was completely amazed by the way we sang during the performance. We sang a lot of songs, both old and new, such as “All About That Bass”, and “Southside Rock”. I sang my heart out like I always do (everybody loved the way my singing voice sounded the whole time). After the performance was over, it was time to eat. We had some simply delicious tri-tip for dinner, and we did save room for dessert as well, because there was plenty of sweets, and I did get enough to eat. When it was time to pack up our equipment and leave, we each got a dollar for our hard work during the gig. As always, I had such a wonderful time with the Southside Ensemble, and out of all the gigs I have done with them since I joined the band, this one was seriously the best one yet! I really look forward to doing more of this stuff with the Southside Ensemble in the future. I’m telling you right now, it just doesn’t get any better than this!

Mr. Ray was trying to get all the butterflies away from him because they were annoying him. He didn’t like butterflies because they scared him and he thought they were chasing him. He began to run around a cactus tree and hoped they would fly into the spikes and get stuck. Mr. Ray heard a screech and as he looked up a raven swooped down from the sky and ate the butterflies one by one. Finally Mr. Ray could sit down and enjoy his Pepsi, “Oh No!” Mr. Ray watched his Pepsi fall to the ground, “Stupid butterfingers!”
Mr. Ray set out from his house to search for another bottle of Pepsi. The sun beats down as Mr. Ray walks through the desert. Luckily he has his sunglasses so that he can see in the blinding sunlight. His mind starts to get bigger and stronger and he starts to daydream as he walks along. Mr. Ray stops suddenly. In the distance he sees a store, “Maybe I can get a Pepsi!” Mr. Ray starts singing and dances all the way to the store.
Mr. Ray opens the door of the store and inside he finds a mountain of Pepsi. “Ooooh yeah! I found the Pepsi! Party all the time!” Mr. Ray walks inside, reaches his hand out for a Pepsi and hesitates, “Maybe I should rob this place and take it all with me.” He picks a case of Pepsi and carries it towards the door. “Hold it!” Mr. Ray spins around and sees the store owner, Gabriel, pointing a stun gun. Mr. Ray runs towards Gabriel, “You don’t scare me!” Gabriel fires his stun gun but Mr. Ray keeps running towards him. Suddenly Mr. Ray tosses Gabriel up into the air like a balloon. Gabriel falls to the ground and breaks his neck, “My neck! My neck! You broke my neck!” An octopus comes out of the cooler and slithers towards Gabriel. “Ahhhhh!!!” The octopus jumps on top of Gabriel and eats him. “Hey Mr. Ray! I’m glad we’re friends.” “Thanks for kicking his butt Mr. Octopus”.
Mr. Ray and Mr. Octopus sit down outside the store and eat jelly beans and have a great time. The jelly beans make them thirsty and Mr. Ray remembers the reason he came to the store in the first place. Mr. Ray and Mr. Octopus decide that they are best friends. “Let’s take a picture so we remember this forever.” Mr. Ray and Mr. Octopus each take a Pepsi and walk home to their house together. When they get home they crack open the Pepsi and finally enjoy a cool refreshing drink.

You have so many memories
From childhood to marriage
We had fun times
to depressing moments.
My old house was awesome
I keep you clean and smelling good
I had beautiful pictures posted on my wall
from family members to flowers and pets
The birthday parties were awesome
To us running around in the yard
And us sleeping in your bedrooms
We had wonderful moments
Now my house is old
And not livable anymore
You’re run down with broken windows
I’m going to miss you when you’re torn down.

You’re beautiful when the water
Falls and hits the rocks with a
Beautiful sound of water crashing
You’re in the forest with the beautiful
Trees and leaves with animals surrounding you
And fish swimming along with people
And tigers walking through your waters
People take pictures and you are in
The background with trees and rocks
Famous people also take pictures in
Front of you with their swimsuits
When water falls you can see a rainbow
Or a double rainbow depending on where you look
When seasons change the leaves change too
With autumn colors it is beautiful

On Friday, May 8th, JR and his Adaptive Skills Trainer co-worker Patrick were picking up litter at the Sacramento Boat Marina. The Sacramento County Sheriffs and the Sacramento Police Department were at the Marina doing their water rescue training. They were glad to see JR cleaning up the garbage and the Yolo County Sheriffs Department gave JR a challenge coin for his service.

Created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, “The Big Bang Theory” is the uproariously funny story of two brainy best friends, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), and Sheldon (Jim Parsons), who could tell you anything you want to know about quantum physics, but when it comes to dealing with everyday life here on Earth, they’re lost in the cosmos. They share an apartment in Pasadena, California, with Penny (Kaley Cuoco), a waitress and aspiring actress from Nebraska who lives across the hall, and two equally geeky and socially awkward friends and co-workers, Howard (Simon Helberg), and Raj (Kunai Nayyar). For quite some time now, the show has had some supporting characters, which are currently series regulars. They are Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), Amy (Mayim Bialik), and Stuart (Kevin Sussman). Since its debut in September of 2007, “The Big Bang Theory” has been one of the funniest sitcoms on TV ever, and it has aired eight laugh-packed seasons so far (season nine is coming soon). I laugh out loud every time I watch, and I have been such a huge fan of the show since the beginning of 2015. I am pleased to announce that “The Big Bang Theory” is one of my favorite TV shows these days, right next to “Modern Family” and “Parks and Recreation”. I will always be a fan no matter what happens, and I really mean that with all of my heart!

A big question for humanity is ‘are we alone?’ Humanity is 100% in belief that NASA is trying to discover alien worlds. The Kepler space telescope was launched by NASA to discover Earth like planets orbiting other stars. It is part of NASA’s Discovery Program. Using the Kepler telescope NASA has confirmed that there are Earth-sized planets orbiting in habitable zones of sun-like stars in the Milky Way. The SETI (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence) program is trying to contact intelligent life by signaling stars and other alien civilizations. If the signals are returned and extraterrestrial life is found, the discoveries will really be out of this world!
